Sweet Purple Description & Growing Information
One of the very potent marijuana strains is Sweet Purple. It is a product of crossbreeding three varieties, a purple strain, a Dutch variety that can yield high and a third strain that is known for its potency. Although the exact strains are not known, all those three important characteristics have been retained by the Sweet purple Strain. It is especially bred by Paradise Seeds in 1999 for its outdoor Cannabis farming markets.
The flowering time for the Sweet Purple is 8 to 9 weeks on average and can be harvested in mid-October. It is known to be an early finisher but it is also capable of yielding up to 500 grams per plant which by most standards is huge. The plant itself is capable of growing up to 8 feet which means that it requires a larger space to be cultivated. When mature enough, the Sweet Purple takes on a lavender color and its buds are gleaming with crystals full of THC. When smoked, it has a very distinct sweet taste that a lot of smokers like. It has a very stony and potent effect that could send the user in deep relaxation. This is why it is often used to fight ADHD and ADD as well as chronic pain and insomnia.

A poly hybrid would be a nice addition to my grow room I’m sure as there is not much strain with this characteristics available from many seedbanks and breeders. I wonder though how stable is this ganja especially when it comes to being homogenous or having different phenotypes. It is all too easy for this type of hybrid to show many different phenos and that is what I’m concerned about.
